Shadows of the Exiled

Isidore Leclair, sole heir to a practically extinct house of shadow mages, unwillingly serves as knight and demon hunter to his father's usurper and murderer, Erland Faucher. He finds destiny and vengeance intermingled when he is exiled and framed for the death of the king, learning Erland intends to use demonic forces to exterminate all mages and permanently consolidate his power on the realm. Saved from execution by a criminal werewolf, Cauchemar, Isidore is driven underground to a group of loyalists hungry for glory and desperate to stop Faucher's infernal dealings. Yet their ambition alone is insufficient in convincing Faucher's former allies to abandon their lord, forcing Isidore and Cauchemar on a perilous journey in a desperate bid to win an apathetic Goddess' support for their war.
