Book I

Sinners of Drottinmyr -
The Fatal Experiment

By day, the esteemed Vera Sauriel serves the portside city of Drottinmyr as an ordained priestess of necromancy - ushering the dead to the afterlife and counseling their aggrieved families. By night, she and her partner, Morven, are trying to fast track their promotion through a single proof of concept: soul swapping. Everything appears to be going as planned until a neighboring city is found on the ocean floor and a dead girl's ghost latches on to their experiments as a way of resurrection. Turns out in a city of sinners, everyone lies, nothing is sacred, and ends may justify the means.
